PR Households in the Czech Republic commonly have a flat TV; higher social groups usually also own a tablet or a smartphone

Owning a flat TV has become common in Czech households, including among those with lower socio-economic status. However, these groups are still behind with ownership of laptops or digital cameras.

The biggest difference between households from different socio-economic background shows in ownership of devices as tablets or smartphones. Those who own two or three television sets, video or DVD players/recordersare usually from middle socio-economic background. The findings are gained from the Continual Survey which was carried out during the first three quarters of 2014 for the Association of TV Organizations by MEDIARESEARCH as a part of the Czech peoplemeter masurement project.
