A final agreement has been signed today by owners of the minority share of Nielsen Admosphere, a.s. concerning change in the structure of the company’s ownership. The entire 49% share is now in the hands of Tereza Šimečková (Chairwoman of the Board Nielsen Admosphere, a.s.) and Michal Jordan (Deputy Chairman of the Board). The purchase option of the majority shareholder – global company Nielsen – shall remain effective.
A part of the 49% share was taken over by Tereza Šimečková and Michal Jordan from Vladimír Komár – the agreement concerning this change was signed on Monday, 23 January 2017. The takeover of Iain Rugheimer’s share was signed today, 26 January 2017.“Considering our active work in Nielsen Admosphere it is logical for the minority share to remain solely in my and Michal’s hands. I would like to thank both investors for working with us and I am glad that together we have been able to build a strong research agency on the Czech market,“ said the Chairwoman of the Board Tereza Šimečková.Iain Rugheimer added: “It is the formal end of a successful and stimulating 16 years during which we have built from nothing one of the best companies in the Czech Republic. I am very proud to have met and been associated with my friends, my colleagues in Nielsen Admosphere, whose intelligence, commitment and creativity have made the company such a brilliant success and I wish them the same and more in the future.”Vladimír Komár and Iain Rugheimer have decided to leave the company and pursue their other activities.
